Amazingly Durable Coatings By Daich
For use on exterior surfaces; such as a walkway arounda pool, a front porch, or patio, or even for use on driveways, or for interior jobs like garage floors, and counter tops; Daich offers Roller Rock, Spread Stone or Spread Rock. These, durable, high-traffic area coatings all feature similar applications, all clean up with soap and water, and are all able to provide years of beauty and protection to whatever surface to which they are applied. The Vertistone interior wall coating provides a similar stone look, but is designed to adhere to vertical surfaces, rather than hold up on walking surfaces.
If you are looking for the natural beauty of brick, or flagstone, but want to avoid the intense labor, and expense associated with installing brick or flagstone, Ace Paints and Furniture has the answer. The Daich Coatings company offers 3 incredibly durable stone coating products for use on interior or exterior walking surfaces (Roller Rock, Spread Rock, and Spread Stone), and one for interior walls (Vertistone) as well. The photos below include an explanation of how Daich Coatings are applied, and a few pictures meant to emphasize the look or texture of the finished application.
How to Apply:

Step 1- Apply Daich Textured Primer to a clean and dry surface using aroller cover with a 1/2 inch nap.

Step 2- After allowing the primer coat to dry over night the Ace model applies tape to create a brick pattern.

Step 3 again: The Super-Durable Spread Rock is applied using a steel Trowel. Again, apply directly over top of tape first.

Spread Stone can applied using a Stone Texture Roller, or a trowell, to create a variety of textures. It also allows for easy color blending and sponging techniques. This sample has been finished with Daich Acrylic Sealer, and is ready for action.

Here we see a brick pattern created with Spread Stone. The grout lines are created by applying 1/4" tape over Gray Textured Primer, and then applying Spread Stone over the Tape

Here we see Spread Stone applied with a stone texture roller cover. Don't worry, the tape used to create the flag stone look comes pre-cut.

This photo shows a troweled application of Spread Stone, as well as color blending, and color washing techniques that can be used to add an extra dimension of realism.
