3 Ways to Clean Your Home’s Exterior
Hopefully, Halloween hasn’t left you with too many “tricks” to clean up. However, if the holiday has left the outside of your home a bit messy, these tips might help you getting your home’s exterior paint job back to its former glory.

Spot Clean with Water, Dish Soap, and Bleach

If you only need to address a few areas of your house, a simple solution of dish soap and bleach will do the trick. This is the perfect solution for getting rid of Halloween-related messes, such as eggs or wet toilet paper. Let’s be honest, you skimped on the candy, didn’t you?
All you need to do is fill a bucket with one gallon of water, about 30 oz. of oxygen bleach, and an eighth of a cup of dish soap. Using a sponge or cloth, simply scrub out the offending stains and you’re all set!

Use Your Garden Hose

While this may seem obvious, there are a few tricks to keep in mind. For one, you’ll want to do this on a warm, sunny day. That’s easier said than done this time of year, so make sure you’re ready for when the weather is decent.
The best results with a garden hose are achieved with a special attachment. You can find exterior cleaning attachments at most hardware stores. However, if you don’t want to spend the extra money, you can use the 40 degree nozzle on your standard hose attachment. This fans the water out and covers a greater area at a time. Make sure to wash top to bottom so you’re not doubling your work.

Pressure Washing

With a wide variety of available unfinished furniture, we can help you customize everything from bookcases to entertainment stands to office furniture. Contact us to learn more, of browse our inventory.
The most important thing to remember about pressure washers is that they are powerful. Make sure to spray from side to side without stay on one spot too long. This can often result in damaging the facade or even stripping the paint.
