- Brighten it up. Were you expecting traditional muted tones for fall? If you were, you couldn’t be further off. Pantone’s palette of beautiful, clear tones is mixed with a few tones that are closer to what we may consider to be ] traditional fall tones, but even then they are bold and breathtaking. Add a bit of texture to give large, flat walls a little more character and depth to a boring space.
- Paint that ceiling! How much time do you spend waking up, lounging on the couch, or otherwise looking at your white ceiling? Take a little time to create a great design, whether it’s just a quick application of the perfect color, a bit of trim, a little mural work, or a ton of new woodworking to incorporate a bold new look. If you’re going for serious detail, consider scaffolding to avoid neck cramps.
- Want to go with a small, easy project that brings out the amazing fall palette without the big commitment? Consider upcycling or revamping a piece of furniture with a fresh coat of paint in a fun color. A little sanding and priming, and you’ll be ready to go. It also gives you the chance to do something daring, such as adding tiles to the top of a table, gold leaf for some sparkle, or any number of other options.
